Our current projects…
The Project: Circle of Learning
The Circle of Learning: Saskatchewan Adult Literacy Benchmarks Levels 1 & 2 serves as the basis for consistent practice and evaluation in adult literacy programming across Saskatchewan. The Benchmarks are used in publicly funded Level 1 and 2 programming. The Circle of Learning offers a wide variety of tools and provides a framework for contextual planning, evaluation and instruction for adult literacy practitioners. It honours the diversity and strengths of adult learners, providing opportunities to direct their own learning and to make changes in their lives as a result. Revisions to the Circle of Learning were completed in 2016.
Saskatchewan Community Literacy Fund (SCLF)
The Project: various projects
Through the Saskatchewan Community Literacy Fund, the Government of Saskatchewan, Ministry of Education, provides one-time project funding to a variety of literacy projects in the province. Funding is available for family literacy projects.
The Ministry of Education’s 2017-18 Saskatchewan Community Literacy Fund call for proposals is now open. The Saskatchewan Literacy Network provides leadership and support to organizations that apply for and receive funding.
Strengthening Rural Canada
The Project: Rural community research across the province
Strengthening Rural Canada is a comprehensive study on the human and social capital dimensions of rural, small town and remote communities in Canada. Using the latest Census and National Household Survey (NHS) data, the initiative is investigating the connections between human capital – the value of an individual or populations’ skills, knowledge and experience to an organization or country – and rural growth in communities across Canada.
TD Financial Literacy Grant Fund

Co-founded with Prosper Canada, the TD Financial Literacy Grant Fund supports community financial literacy education across Canada.
