Adult Learning Specialist

We’re looking for an Adult Learning Specialist to join our team, for a 3-month term (with a possibility of extension), to develop and support the redesign of key adult learning resources and training, with a focus on Skills for Success and employment for Saskatchewan peoples. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult learning, particularly for adult literacy levels 1 and 2, and knowledge and/or experience in developing modules and materials that honour diversity and support marginalized populations and/or locations within our province.

Family Literacy Specialist

We’re looking for an Family Literacy Specialist to join our team for a 6-month term (with a possibility of extension) to support family literacy advancement in Saskatchewan and family literacy collaborations across the country. This position will work with the team to research and design or redesign family literacy resources, training, and ongoing support methods for family literacy practitioners in Saskatchewan, and may include facilitating family literacy practitioner training and workshops as well as supporting family literacy awareness through communication strategies, including social media.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family literacy, including multi-generational family literacy and family literacy that honours cultural and linguistic diversity, neurodiversity, and the diversities of peoples within communities across our province. Ensuring Indigenous ways of knowing are well reflected is essential. Incorporating clear language and inclusive design principles that support adult and family learning is key.

Online Learning Specialist

We’re looking for an Online Learning Specialist to join our team, for a 6-month term, to collaborate on the redesign of resources and training available online for literacy practitioners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in online education and related platforms. This person will also have knowledge and/or experience in adult learning and instructional design principles as they relate to online learning, with a focus on clear language and inclusive design for increased accessibility.
