DESCRIPTION:Training: Cultural Foundations for Financial Literacy\nThis half-day workshop provides information and tools for service providers and practitioners working with newcomers to Canada. Mentorship about financial literacy topics is a common theme while newcomers are settling in their new communities and seeking information to make informed decisions. Training will provide tools to mentors of newcomers in a variety of settings (individually\, groups\, and peer-to-peer)\, especially as it relates to financial decision making and planning.
