DESCRIPTION:Workshop : Early Literacy and Engaging Families\nIn this workshop\, you will learn why early literacy is important and discuss ways to engage families in early literacy activities\, including building on the strengths of each family to support them in their role as their child’s first and most important teacher. We’ll highlight resources\, tools\, and discuss the connection between families and technology. \nThis workshop is for anyone who works or volunteers with families with young children (0 to 6 years old) and wants to engage and support families as they are building literacy skills. \nThis workshop is 6 hours long and you will get a digital certificate for completing the workshop.
